About My Practice

Mission & Philosophy

Therapy offers potential for healing and opportunity for growth, and I am passionate about supporting clients through this process. I believe that each person has a unique story and carries valuable potential that is waiting to be unlocked and refined. I guide clients toward developing the personal strength and balance needed to meet life’s challenges, and I empower clients to live authentic, purposeful, and connected lives.

Theory & Approach

My approach is founded on a collaborative and respectful relationship with clients, as well as a strong sense of authenticity and integrity that I bring to my practice. I have been described as a welcoming, enthusiastic, and attentive therapist who creates a comfortable and fully accepting environment. I tailor my approach to a client’s presenting concerns and goals for therapy by integrating a variety of methods and theories, including play therapy, strengths-based, family systems, and attachment theory. I am also influenced by Jungian theory and experienced with personality frameworks such as Myers-Briggs and the Enneagram, which aid in fostering awareness, understanding, self-discovery, and interpersonal growth.

Populations & Practice Areas

I work with individual adults, adolescents aged 11-17, and families in a variety of practice areas including anxiety, depression, relational conflict, identity development, and life transitions. I help clients uncover patterns that they seek to change and work with them to find new, creative solutions for moving forward to achieve their goals. As a former educator, I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I understand the challenges that both children and parents face in today’s world and how these affect family dynamics. Because relational interactions are an important component of mental and emotional health, I often work with clients on developing positive communication skills in order to experience more fulfilling and harmonious relationships in all areas of life.
